About Amber Sherbet, LMT

Amber sherbet is an accomplished Massage Therapist. She has been licensed with the state of Maine for 13 years. She is very passionate about what she does and It is her core value to provide a service for her clients that will enhance their lives. As a resourceful and intuitive Massage Therapist, she strives to create a routine that will ensure the best massage for you. She is ethical, meticulous and proprioceptive.
      

She grew up in New York City. Her versatility, spirituality, and cultural development were greatly influenced by being raised in NYC in the 80s, exposed to the teachings of Gurdjieff, meditation and Hatha yoga asanas from her father, who happens to live in the same apartment that she grew up in and still practices yoga to this day. 

Her mother worked in the garment district as a fashion designer. Being a part of a network of close friends and neighbors, she has developed a great appreciation for southern Maine which has a similar feel. She went on to study Reiki and acupuncture in the late 90s creating a lot of the principal beliefs that she still practices.

After settling in Maine in 2001 to raise her children in an environment that she describes as homey, she decided to study massage at Seacoast Career School in 2004, completing the 900-hour course she graduated and became a licensed massage therapist in July 2006.
